Swasey Daze
NEW ENGLAND IPA
6.6% ABV - This bright and juicy double dry hopped beer bursts with flavors and aromas of pineapple, citrus, peach, passionfruit, apricot, and a hint of watermelon. An enticing bright orange color followed by a soft mouthfeel and rounded bitterness makes this beer a crowd pleaser.
Named after Exeter philanthropist, Ambrose Swasey, who generously gifted the town both the Swasey Pavilion (The Bandstand) and the Swasey Parkway including the Swasey Parkway Pavilion. These community gathering places are quintessential to our town of Exeter playing centerpiece to concerts, parades, farmers markets and even our local beerfest!

Boston & Maine
NEW ENGLAND PALE ALE
5.5% ABV - This NEPA features two of our favorite hops, Citra & Galaxy. This easy-drinking, hazy pale is a great session beer with notes of tropical and citrus fruits.
Named for the railroad company that connected Exeter with all of New England. (& the country!) Also, a bit of an homage to a few great beers in these two destinations.

Ioka
EXPERIMENTAL HOPS INDIA PALE ALE
7.0% ABV - This experimental hops IPA keeps the same grain bill & yeast but allows us to play around with hop varieties, quantities & timing each batch.
Named after the historic theater in downtown Exeter. The theater was built in 1915 and a contest for employees was used to choose a name. Believed to be the Native American word for “playground,” it was given the name Ioka.

Broadside
DOUBLE INDIA PALE ALE
8.6% ABV - A smooth drinking medium bodied Imperial IPA packed full hops on both ends. The majority of hops are added during whirlpool and then backed up with a delicious combination of dry hops. This approach brings a bright citrus aroma followed by a bit of dankness. As the beer warms the aroma changes to that of nectar, stone fruit, passionfruit, and hints of mango. This beer has a touch more bitterness than most New England DIPAs but is not as bold as it’s West Coast counterparts.
The name is a slight double entendre referencing Exeter’s history dating back to the American Revolution. Dunlap Broadsides were printed copies of the Declaration of Independence distributed throughout the colonies immediately after its signing. Exeter, being the NH capital at the time, received its copy on July 16th, 1776 when it was read aloud by John Tayler Gilman on the steps of the town hall. This copy (probably?) of the Dunlap Broadside was discovered over 200 years later in the attic of the Ladd-Gilman house and now resides at the American Independence Museum downtown. Our Broadside Double IPA has a tendency to sneak up on you given its higher alcohol percentage but easy drinkability. Don’t get broadsided!

Jailhouse Spring
PALE ALE
5.7% ABV - A medium bodied pale ale with an enticing orange appearance. The journey starts with a toasty aroma surrounded by citrus, berry, & tropical tones, and followed with a bit of pine & earthiness. Hopped with Simcoe, Mosaic, & Vic Secret.
The name references a well-known fresh water spring in Exeter. The spring’s long history can be loosely traced back to the founding of the town however got it’s current name when a jailhouse was built on the land in 1857. The jail and subsequent spring house are no longer there but we still have the pipe bubbling out fresh spring water on Forest St.

Oated Sleeper
OATMEAL STOUT
9.4% ABV - Our oatmeal stout named for the Sullivan-Sleeper house in downtown Exeter formerly owned by Otis Sleeper. Built in 1809, the Sullivan-Sleeper house is one of Exeter’s prominent landmarks on the corner of Front & Water street. This historic house was saved from destruction in 1970 by the Exeter Historical Society Corporation and today is known to residents as the Inn by the Bandstand.

Purple Dinosaur
NEW ENGLAND IPA
8.0% ABV - This NEIPA features Strata with a nice addition of Warrior, Citra & Mosaic hops providing a dank, passion fruit characteristic! Look for notes of strawberry & pineapple from this hop combo!
Named after the well-known park in town with the iconic spring-mounted purple dinosaur. If you grew up here or you have kids, you know what we are talking about!
